WELCOME TO ROCK CREEK PACK STATION

(760)872-8331

Dorothy

It has been a near record snowfall year ... and record heat for June. The snow is melting quickly, allowing access to many areas of the Sierra! The roads are in great shape. The clean air and fresh growth only enhance already beautiful areas.

Fishing is great from our base camps in the Hilton Lakes area and the Cottonwood region. If you are looking for a day ride, check out the rides to Dorothy or Hilton Lakes.

How do YOU want to travel in YOUR Sierra Nevada Wilderness?

RIDING

If you'd like to set up a PRIVATE ALL-EXPENSE TRIP, a DUNNAGE DROP or a SPOT TRIP, we'd be happy to help you.

HIKING

Our Hiking Trips have become increasingly popular. Hike the Sierras with only a day-pack, while our trusty stock pack your goods and our cook prepares your meals. Those wishing to arrange their own private hiking trips along the John Muir Trail and in Yosemite should contact us at their earliest convenience.

Have a desire to gaze from the highest peak in the continental United States? You can join our Summit Mt. Whitney hike to experience that!

The John Muir/Pacific Crest Trail Trip will give you the opportunity to experience the world's greatest wilderness. You can join us for the entire 30 day trip or pick a segment that fits your schedule.

While this trip is open to both riders and hikers, we will be traveling the trails separately, but enjoying each others' company in camp. Call to determine the best fit for you!

Call us TODAY at 760-872-8331 for a quick response to your questions.
